Organizing the SOL SPA and HOTWORX convention is a monumental task that begins months in advance. Jodie Mateu, the VP of Special Events & Productivity at our world headquarters pours countless hours into crafting an event that delivers value to every attendee along with the help of the corporate team. From securing a venue like the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center, with its over 500,000 square feet of meeting space and stunning Rocky Mountain views, to curating a lineup of expert panels, elite training sessions, and engaging vendor exhibits, every detail is meticulously planned to align with the “ELEVATE” theme, inspiring franchisees to take their locations to new heights.
The planning process involves coordinating logistics for over 1,000 attendees. This includes arranging high-energy opening ceremonies and organizing impactful keynote speeches from industry experts. The corporate team also designs training sessions to equip franchisees with strategies to boost revenue and enhance member experiences, ensuring every moment is purposeful.
The Awards Banquet, a highlight of the convention, requires its own level of preparation. The banquet honors top-performing franchisees, with nominations and evaluations handled by the corporate team to recognize exemplary performance. It's not just about hard work, it’s about igniting passion and motivation. Franchisees and executives leave the event energized, armed with new strategies, and ready to elevate their locations.
